Information we collect

When you contact us or submit a lead form, we may collect:

• your name, email address and telephone number;
• your trade, business type or the service you are interested in;
• your message and any other information you choose to provide; and
• basic enquiry information supplied by the platform through which you contacted us.

Please do not send PPS numbers, bank-card details, tax records or other sensitive documents through a Meta lead form.

How and why we use your information

We use enquiry information to:

• respond to your request and discuss the accounting or tax service you asked about;
• take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
• keep an appropriate record of our communications; and
• meet legal, regulatory and professional obligations where they apply.

Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations. We will only use your details for unrelated marketing where you have consented or another lawful basis applies. You may opt out of marketing at any time.

Meta lead forms

If you submit a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta first processes the information under its own Privacy Policy and then makes the form response available to us. We use that response only as described in this notice.

Who we share information with

We may share personal information with staff and trusted service providers who help us manage communications, IT, hosting, customer records and professional services. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, Revenue, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some technology providers, including Meta, may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards recognised under data-protection law, such as approved contractual protections.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond, follow up and decide whether a client relationship will begin. If no relationship begins, we normally delete or anonymise the enquiry within 24 months. If you become a client, or if law, regulation or professional standards require it, relevant records may be kept for longer.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data-protection law, you may ask us to:

• give you access to your personal information;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• erase information or restrict how it is used;
• provide certain information in a portable format; or
• stop processing based on legitimate interests or stop direct marketing.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make decisions about your enquiry based solely on automated processing.

Security

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so please use an agreed secure channel before sending tax records, identification or other confidential documents.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
